The Tigris, Euphrates, the Ganges and the Nile
Shaped countless cultures, their knowledge I wish to compile
H20, the eternal trinity
Such an integral part of you and of me
The blood of mother earth pumping and shaping history
To those who learn to use it, comes victory
Can you see the influence
Formulate congruence
Out of seemingly random actions
Come to the conclusion through all of the distractions
The power of Unity
What a site to see
Streams have leveled playing fields
Mountains have fallen to the will that they yield
Constant perseverance
Immune to deterrence
The mantra guiding
The Spirits still providing
The strength 'till the end
Time, ones enemy and friend
The life of a man paralleled in a river
The common source our eternal giver
The eternal present ever flowing
Carving its influence in time and my knowing
With Siddartha I sit on the banks of the river and meditate
The meaning of life is more than evident to those who sit and wait
The hidden treasures bubble to the top in streams of consciousness
Let thoughts drift away to clear ones conscious mess
I sit and watch the stream pass by
Reminiscent of how time can fly
Always changing, always flowing towards the source
Fate, the current; Karma, the ebb and flow of ones course
A drop from heaven, Manna from the sky
A tear to wash anew, fallen from gods eye
Collecting when earthed with those of like mind
Their will soon gathers strength to seek and to find
Ones Way back to its origin, water yearns for its Level
Constantly tempted by the tricks the devil
Well they again awake and seek their goal
Once the journey is halted, momentum must be regained, fate the only toll
To make complete the circle of life is ones destiny
The stream shows me this and what myself must seek to be
From the streams point of view I am, but a single moment
Teaching the waters how to escape the torment
One feels when separated from their deity
We are one another's students in this grand tragedy
Relativity
What is it to you? What is it to me?
The Stream of Life, flowing like time
Is consciousness confined to mind?
The blood of Gaya on its journey to the heart
I bare witness through Maya, trying to decipher my part
The Stream eventually reaches its end the sea
Where it once again knows what it means to be
The karmic circle of life complete
Life's secrets are at ones feet
A part of the whole, it again chooses
To take the ride once more, it realizes it loses
The answers to the questions to which it must strive
Temporary enlightenment, a fine price to pay for eternal lives
The answers and more
Are what's in store
If one chooses to sit with Siddartha and me
On the banks of the River to see what we may be
One cannot make it alone
Will you join us on our journey home?
All the answers eventually bubble to the top
One must have the will to make the world stop
And be able to decode the signs given to them
So one may reach GOD and achieve the free will to begin again
The completion of the cycle is not important, in TO BE
What matters is that the journey helped you see
That in the path is where the answers lie
When traveled right, With GOD in Peace, we may finally die...
